About the company
telli is creating a platform that helps businesses build consumer-facing AI voice agents. The company believes phone-based customer conversations are set to grow sharply as AI improves, and that voice agents will become a standard part of how B2C brands serve customers across sectors such as energy, telecom, and insurance.
The team sees a major market opportunity in replacing frustrating phone support experiences with natural, scalable conversations powered by AI.
Role overview
This is telli’s first marketing hire. The position is designed to establish and run the company’s growth marketing function end to end, covering both strategy and hands-on execution.
What you will do
- Define and shape the company’s positioning, narratives, and content direction.
- Build, manage, and optimize growth marketing initiatives from planning through execution.
What the company is looking for
- 1-3 years of experience in growth marketing or product marketing, ideally in an early-stage startup where you helped create the marketing function from the ground up or were among the first marketing hires.
- A highly creative mindset with the ability to develop original campaigns and messaging rather than relying only on standard playbooks.
- Strong instinct for positioning and storytelling, with the ability to translate technical products into memorable and compelling narratives.
- A data-first approach that relies on experiments and performance metrics instead of intuition alone.
- The ability to learn new tools, channels, and market trends quickly.
- Comfort using AI and automation extensively to avoid manual work where it can be streamlined.
- Strong communication skills in both English and German.
- Interest in working with collaborative, friendly teammates who value humility and low ego.
- Willingness to work from the Berlin office five days a week.
- Bonus: experience building a personal project, side business, or other venture.
