Executive, Partnership Operations

Role overview

An opportunity has opened for an Executive in Partnership Operations to join Liverpool FC at its head office in Liverpool city centre. The position supports the team responsible for delivering partner rights across the club’s football operations and wider activity, including talent appearances, open training sessions, signed merchandise, matchday campaigns and club events. The role involves close coordination with internal departments, suppliers and commercial partners.

Partnership rights delivery

• Help plan and execute partner rights across football operations, including appearances by talent, open training sessions, signed merchandise, matchday activity and other club-led activations.
• Assist Partnership Operations Managers in tracking inventory availability and how partnership assets are used across football properties.
• Contribute to collaboration between football operations, partnerships and wider commercial teams across both LFC and LFCW.

Stakeholder and relationship management

• Develop productive working relationships with internal teams, outside suppliers and commercial partners.
• Work in tandem with football operations colleagues across the men’s and women’s sides of the club.
• Help improve the partner experience and identify ways to raise delivery standards.

Administrative support

• Monitor operational budgets and assist with finance-related processes connected to football operations, branding and events.
• Keep records and reports accurate for rights delivery and operational work.
• Provide flexible support for partnership delivery projects and events whenever needed.

Additional responsibilities

• Look for practical ways to improve operational processes and working methods.
• Support partner branding requirements across club locations, matchdays and events, ensuring all execution meets both club and partner standards.
• Help deliver partner activations on men’s and women’s matchdays when required, including fan zones, hospitality settings, sponsored fixtures and stadium activations.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will bring experience from a partnership, sponsorship, marketing or sports operations environment, and will be keen to grow within an elite football setting. A degree or equivalent professional background relevant to the role is required. Strong organisation, time management and the ability to handle several projects at once are important, along with excellent communication and relationship-building ability. The role suits someone confident working with internal teams and external stakeholders, able to use initiative and work independently in a fast-moving environment, and comfortable supporting sponsorship or partnership rights delivery. A collaborative, proactive and positive approach is essential. Experience in sport, entertainment, events or talent settings would be an advantage.

Working pattern and location

This is a permanent full-time role based at Liverpool FC’s head office in Liverpool City Centre. The working week is 35 hours. The vacancy may close early if application volumes are high, so early interest is encouraged.
