Role Summary

In this Estimator role, you will collaborate with the sales team and buyers to create and manage new or expanded performance guarantees for deployed solutions. You will also coordinate the work of assigned resources on smaller projects and support the preparation of turnkey tender pricing proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales and procurement teams to build pricing proposals for turnkey tenders.
• Apply practical knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, and cleanroom projects in industrial settings; exposure to semiconductor, pharma, or data center work will be an advantage.
• Review tender documents, interpret the scope of work, and measure quantities from drawings.
• Prepare bills of quantities and estimate tender costs using both unit-rate and lump-sum methods.
• Develop pricing benchmarks and maintain a standardized pricing structure.
• Draft tender submissions, compare bids, and recommend appropriate contractors for HVAC, mechanical, and piping work.
• Complete proposal pricing forms and commercial qualification documents for submission.
• Prepare manpower loading plans and cash-flow sheets.
• Assess commercial risks and opportunities linked to the project.
• Understand EPC contractual terms and participate in commercial negotiation meetings with customers and subcontractors.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma, along with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical, HVAC, or industrial work.
• Strong capability in commercial analysis and financial risk management.
• Proven success in handling and delivering large-scale commercial projects.
• Ability to influence and work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in decision-making.
