English Specialist

Role Summary

This position is for a part-time English Specialist supporting one of our clients. The work is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere. The main focus of the job is to assess English language proficiency for non-native speakers by reviewing both written and spoken answers against defined standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review written and spoken English responses to determine proficiency levels.
• Score submissions using established rubrics and evaluation guidelines.
• Share concise, consistent feedback on language performance.
• Record assessment outcomes carefully for quality control and tracking.
• Meet deadlines while keeping all evaluation content confidential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong English fluency at a native or near-native level is mandatory.
• Background in language assessment, teaching, or a related area is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work within structured scoring rules.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as CEFR will be an added advantage.
