Role Overview
This is a senior leadership role in Canada focused on shaping strategy and making sure the organization executes effectively. You will partner closely with executive leaders on high-priority work such as mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and operational change. The position combines deep analysis with practical delivery, so you will help turn priorities into structured plans and measurable outcomes across the business.
You will act as a bridge between leadership and functional teams, bringing clarity to complex cross-functional work and helping the company build stronger execution habits. The setting is fast-moving and collaborative, and it suits someone who can work through ambiguity while keeping processes disciplined and outcomes on track.
Key Accountabilities
- Own the full lifecycle of M&A work, including diligence coordination, integration planning, milestone management, and execution after close.
- Partner with teams such as Finance, Legal, People, and Product to keep deal-related work aligned and moving.
- Facilitate annual and quarterly planning cycles by organizing analysis and converting decisions into practical operating plans.
- Monitor delivery of strategic programs, maintain visibility on progress, and raise risks or misalignment early.
- Build and maintain the company’s value-creation roadmap and help ensure steady progress across departments.
- Assess and rank strategic initiatives using business cases and financial evaluation.
- Drive execution of top priorities across functions with clear ownership, milestones, and follow-through.
- Run leadership operating rhythms so meetings support structured decisions and action.
- Improve reporting rigor, KPI tracking, and operating processes to strengthen organizational maturity.
What We’re Looking For
The right candidate is a highly analytical operator who is equally comfortable with strategy and execution. Experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate development, or strategic operations is important, along with practical business execution in high-growth settings.
You should be able to organize ambiguous work, manage several streams at once, and communicate complex ideas clearly to senior audiences. Strong financial judgment, comfort with SaaS metrics and unit economics, and experience with M&A work are all important. A background in PE-backed or high-growth SaaS businesses will be an advantage.
