About the company
Spanish Point is a major Irish technology business with a strong local heritage and three main areas of focus: supporting the international music sector through its Matching Engine product, serving European SaaS companies with its SmartAIM Library and SmartAIM Framework services, and delivering digital transformation work for medium to large commercial and public sector clients in Ireland in partnership with Microsoft.
The company is in a sustained growth phase and is seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Platforms Executive to help drive that expansion.
Role overview
This role is centered on building, improving, and continuously managing digital marketing platforms that enable large-scale, multi-channel campaigns. The position involves coordinating with internal web development, Azure, and Dynamics 365 teams, as well as external digital design, UX, and website content agencies, plus colleagues across marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, refine, and continuously improve digital marketing platforms spanning the website, CRM, email, SEO, and digital content tools.
- Work with colleagues across the business to gather development needs for digital platforms and convert them into clear project briefs and tasks.
- Help manage the roadmap for digital platform development with external agencies to keep delivery aligned with strategy.
- Shape digital platform experiences so that formats and functionality are designed to attract, engage, and convert target audiences defined in the audience segmentation strategy.
- Monitor domain registrations, SSL certificates, and DNS records to ensure websites remain live and accessible.
- Deliver training and user support for both internal and external platform users when needed.
- Act as the internal owner of the Sitecore CMS, working alongside the in-house development team and external Sitecore partners.
- Communicate platform plans and releases to internal stakeholders to keep them informed of updates.
- Work closely with the IT team to share marketing plans and upcoming changes so infrastructure needs can be anticipated in advance.
- Promote a customer-first approach in collaboration with the marketing team, using insight and analytics to guide content strategy and platform improvements.
- Review platform and campaign performance, interpret results, and recommend actions to improve digital platforms and marketing content.
- Measure performance against KPIs such as usage, engagement, conversion, and lead generation.
- Partner with the Head of Marketing to produce reporting for Marketing Qualified Leads and support campaign approaches that drive lead generation.
- Monitor budget distribution across digital platforms to maximize marketing impact.
- Stay informed on B2B digital marketing and technology trends, assess new innovations and best practices, and suggest new platforms and campaign ideas to preserve competitiveness.
- Check data quality and lead qualification within the CRM, including integrations with Spanish Point Technologies website properties, and implement adjustments to improve campaign reporting.
Skills and experience required
- At least 3 years of experience in technology-related product and services marketing, including UX, martech project management, and digital/content campaign work.
- A strong record of managing and delivering enterprise-level marketing projects and systems with accuracy.
- Practical experience in SEO, landing page optimisation, and conversion rate improvement.
- Hands-on exposure to marketing tools such as email platforms, CRM systems, website CMS tools, and SEO management platforms.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Semrush, and similar tracking tools.
- Excellent spoken and written English, along with strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a Microsoft partner environment, SaaS, or B2B marketing.
Nice-to-have experience
- Exposure to Sitecore XM Cloud or Sitecore AI CMS.
- Experience with ClickDimensions or comparable B2B automation and email marketing platforms.
- Background working with internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Previous product owner experience or familiarity with Agile methods and principles.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing and/or technology.
