Designer

Overview

Haus is looking for a skilled Designer to join its Los Angeles team on a freelance basis. This role supports a variety of digital projects and works closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Senior Designers to shape ideas, improve executions, and deliver refined creative assets in both static and video formats. The team is seeking someone with strong design fundamentals, interest in how digital products and experiences come together, and a desire to develop in a collaborative studio setting.

What you will do

• Create digital assets, visual directions, and production-ready deliverables for different client assignments.
• Partner with Art Directors and Senior Designers by responding to feedback and strengthening the work through each round of refinement.
• Help build moodboards, style frames, storyboards, and exploratory concept work.
• Stay curious about UI, motion, and interaction design, even when these are not the main focus of the task.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of design experience, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates variety and strong craft.
• Comfort using Figma and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• A solid grasp of typography, composition, and visual communication.
• Awareness of motion and UI principles, including how digital experiences behave as well as how they appear.
• Open to feedback, eager to keep learning, and able to contribute well in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation

This freelance role offers a day rate of $375 to $450, depending on skill level and experience.
