Role overview

The Deputy General Manager - DPD will be accountable for the project’s overall profitability, construction progress, customer experience including NPS, and quality outcomes. The role requires close coordination across functions and a strong understanding of the complete real estate value chain, from land acquisition through to project delivery.

Core responsibilities

• Own project profitability and returns through effective asset management.
• Build and review financial models and carry out detailed analysis.
• Support AOP planning to protect and deliver the approved business plan.
• Oversee daily site operations and ensure execution aligns with the business plan.
• Monitor the project’s performance against milestones, costs, and delivery commitments.
• Identify, escalate, and address risks that could affect returns during pre-construction and construction stages.
• Assess risks early and recommend practical mitigation options and next steps to management.
• Set team goals that align with AOP targets and business priorities.
• Review team output, conduct regular performance evaluations, and complete appraisal-related processes.
• Support team engagement, collaboration, and capability building.
• Spot process gaps in the work area and suggest improvements to improve efficiency, cost control, and productivity.
• Drive process-improvement initiatives while following company policies and defined procedures.

Experience required

Candidates should have 8 to 10 years of work experience.
