Data Analyst – Healthcare

What You’ll Do

• Collect, organize, prepare, and examine healthcare data from a range of sources.
• Spot patterns and insights within patient, claims, and operational datasets.
• Create dashboards and reports using business intelligence platforms.
• Work closely with clinical, business, and IT stakeholders to support informed decisions.
• Maintain high standards for data quality, accuracy, and HIPAA compliance.
• Summarize findings and present analytical results to relevant stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a data analyst role, with healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis methods.
• Hands-on exposure to healthcare datasets and reporting workflows.
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Background

• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of healthcare data exchange standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Experience using EHR or EMR platforms.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python or R for analysis tasks.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are considered a plus.

Compensation

The annual pay for this role is $65,000 to $75,000.
