About the role
Policybazaar is hiring customer-oriented professionals for its support team in Gurugram. In this role, you will represent the company in customer conversations, help resolve insurance-related questions, and contribute to a smooth and positive customer experience.
Job details
This position is based only in Gurugram, Haryana and requires on-site work. The shift is a 6-day working week with a rostered weekly off. Interviews will be conducted in person only, with no virtual rounds. The preferred language for this role is Malayalam only. The company has shared a salary range of 3 to 4.2 LPA. Freshers may also apply. Applicants should be comfortable with the role, location, and compensation before applying.
Responsibilities
- Take both incoming and outgoing calls to respond to customer questions and concerns.
- Share correct information about insurance policies, premium calculations, and policy status.
- Route unresolved issues to the relevant internal team and track them through resolution.
- Keep customer data accurate by updating the CRM system regularly.
- Deliver a professional, helpful service that supports customer satisfaction.
- Work toward daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals assigned by the team lead.
Requirements
- Graduate degree required.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, along with Malayalam proficiency as the preferred language requirement.
- Ability to respond to customer queries in a calm, polite, and efficient manner.
- Basic computer skills, including comfort with MS Office and email.
- Patience and empathy for handling difficult or upset customers.
- Prior experience in a call center or customer support role is an added advantage.
- Both freshers and candidates with experience are eligible to apply.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
