Role Purpose

This position is responsible for running daily kitchen operations efficiently while keeping mise en place in order and maintaining excellent kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check that ingredients and finished dishes are fresh and of good quality.
  • Prepare food by following recipes and accurately measuring, weighing, and combining ingredients.
  • Cook a range of foods by baking, grilling, steaming, and boiling meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, and other items.
  • Plate, present, garnish, and arrange dishes attractively before service.
  • Provide food service support when needed.
  • Keep the work area clean and safe, including proper handling of utensils, equipment, and dishes.
  • Store and manage ingredients and food correctly.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen workspaces, tools, equipment, and utensils.
  • Carry out opening and closing routines for the kitchen.
  • Prepare workstations with the required ingredients and equipment.
  • Inspect ingredient quality and freshness before use.
  • Track inventory levels for the assigned station.
  • Respond to guest requests and special dietary needs where possible.

Qualification and Experience
