Community Support Worker

Overview

Sunnyfield Disability Services is offering a full-time, on-site Community Support Worker role in Cromer, New South Wales. This position is suited to someone who wants meaningful work, flexibility, and the chance to build real connections while supporting people with disability.

What you will do

In this role, you will provide tailored day-to-day assistance that helps participants become more independent and confident. The work also involves personal care, social engagement, skill-building, and maintaining a safe, well-documented support environment.

• Provide individualised support that promotes independence
• Assist with personal care and everyday living tasks
• Encourage participation in social activities and skill development
• Develop positive, respectful relationships with participants and their families
• Keep accurate records and follow safe work practices

• Prior experience in disability support

Must-have requirements

• Availability to work across all hours of the day
• Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance and National Criminal History Record Check
• Two recent professional references
• Valid driver’s licence
