Role overview
This position suits someone who enjoys a busy, varied workload and is excited by the chance to create digital content that makes a real impact. The successful candidate will join a highly regarded communications team and play a key role in shaping how the organisation presents itself to audiences.
The role is centred on digital storytelling. You will develop content that grabs attention, strengthens reputation, and supports campaigns from initial idea through to final delivery. A strong creative instinct, confidence working across several projects at once, and the ability to keep multiple priorities on track are all important.
Key duties
You will take ownership of photography, video production, editing, graphic design, and wider multimedia activity. This includes content for the organisation’s website, intranet, and other digital channels.
The role also involves handling media enquiries, preparing journalists with relevant information, and producing press releases. In addition, you will help coordinate events, press conferences, photo opportunities, visits, and award-related activity.
You will be expected to produce engaging visual material from start to finish, including storyboarding, filming or shooting, editing, and creating polished graphics. Strong use of Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Premiere, Photoshop, and InDesign will be essential.
Alongside creative output, you will need excellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences. Relationship-building will also be important, as the role requires regular collaboration with colleagues and external contacts.
