Position Summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. The role is based in Plano, Texas and centers on business strategy analytics. The selected professional will work with teams across functions to examine market dynamics, spot expansion opportunities, and support strategic initiatives that advance business goals.

Responsibilities

• Study market movements, customer behavior, and competitor actions to uncover growth opportunities and shape go-to-market plans.
• Evaluate sales results and product/channel performance to identify improvement areas and new ideas for execution.
• Partner with strategy, sales, and operations groups to build detailed reports and presentations for senior leaders.
• Track developments across the industry, including new technologies, to understand how they may affect business direction.
• Take ownership of special projects and strategic assignments as business needs evolve.

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, statistics, or a similar discipline is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• 6–8 years of experience in analytics or a related area, especially in business strategy or operations.
• Strong analytical ability and hands-on experience with data tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
• Exposure to market research methods and sales performance analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in consumer electronics or retail is a plus.
• Familiarity with advanced analytics methods such as predictive modeling and machine learning is preferred.
• Experience working with third-party research and market data sources such as NPD, IDC, Nielsen, Strategy Analytics, or Canalys is an advantage.
