SAUDICO works on both employer-led re-measurement contracts and full turnkey design-and-build assignments, providing end-to-end construction services nationwide.

Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site Architect position in Riyadh. The selected professional will shape architectural concepts, produce detailed drawings and design packages, and make sure all work aligns with local regulations, codes, and project requirements.

What you will do

• Create architectural concepts and translate them into practical design solutions.
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for project execution.
• Ensure designs comply with local building rules, standards, and project briefs.
• Work closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams to keep design and delivery aligned.
• Review design submissions, refine proposals, and resolve design-related concerns during execution.
• Take part in site visits to check implementation and support issue resolution.
• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to balance functional needs, budget limits, and aesthetic goals.
• Contribute to the delivery of complex and high-profile construction projects.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or a higher qualification in Architecture, or a closely related discipline.
• Professional registration, or eligibility to obtain it, is preferred.
• Strong command of architectural design, including concept generation, space planning, and detailed documentation.
• Ability to support project management tasks such as scheduling, team coordination, and control of cost and quality.
• Working knowledge of design technology and digital project coordination tools, including BIM workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, or similar architectural software.
• Solid understanding of local building codes and construction standards.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary groups and clients.
• Prior exposure to large or complex projects, preferably in the Gulf region or a comparable environment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to work on-site in Riyadh.

This role is based in Riyadh and requires on-site presence. The position is intended for candidates who can contribute to demanding construction assignments and work effectively across design, coordination, and implementation stages.
