Alignment Technician

Role Overview

Belle Tire is seeking an Alignment Technician in South Bend, Indiana. In this hands-on role, you will help keep customers on the road by carrying out vehicle repair and maintenance work in a busy, safety-focused shop. The ideal candidate enjoys working on cars, operates well in a team setting, and is committed to providing excellent service.

Key Duties

• Carry out wheel alignments, steering and suspension repairs, oil changes, and other standard automotive services.
• Complete every job in line with Belle Tire’s quality expectations and safety practices.
• Support a strong customer experience by consistently delivering reliable service and workmanship.
• Keep the work area tidy, organized, and safe at all times.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by the manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Michigan State Mechanic Certification is required only for positions based in Michigan.
• At least 1 year of experience in vehicle alignment is required.
• Applicants should bring a customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• ASE certifications.

Physical Demands

• This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, bend frequently, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment

The position is based in a tire and automotive retail service store. Working hours may vary, with shifts running Monday through Saturday. The shop environment is fast paced and physically demanding, with extended standing and heavy lifting expected.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 per year.
