Accounting Supervisor

Role Overview

Mina Excellence is seeking a seasoned and meticulous Accounting Supervisor to strengthen its Finance function in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position suits a hands-on finance professional who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with leadership ability and a drive for accuracy, compliance, and smoother financial operations.

What You Will Handle

• Lead the daily accounting workflow and coordinate the accounting team’s activities.
• Check journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions to confirm they are correct and compliant.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing tasks.
• Compile, review, and analyze financial and management reports.
• Track accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activity.
• Make sure accounting work follows company policies, relevant standards, and legal/regulatory rules.
• Assist with internal and external audits and help resolve audit observations.
• Manage tax-related and statutory reporting obligations.
• Look for ways to strengthen processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, with some experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Working knowledge of ERP platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Professional credentials such as CMA, CPA, ACCA, or SOCPA will be viewed favorably.
