Role overview

This is a full-time, office-based accounting role focused on GST compliance for a corporate organization in Ahmedabad. The position is suited to a staff-level accountant or management accountant handling statutory GST work and related coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Complete GST return preparation and submission, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other recurring filings within the required timelines.
• Prepare replies to GST notices with correct supporting records and compliance with legal requirements.
• Handle additional GST statements and other filings required under GST regulations.
• Keep GST registers, books, and reconciliation statements accurate and up to date, and ensure portal entries are updated on time.
• Work with clients and vendors to collect data, verify invoices, and resolve GST-related issues or discrepancies.
• Assist with GST audits, assessments, and departmental proceedings by compiling the necessary documents and reports.

Work schedule and location

The working hours are 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The job is based in Science City, Ahmedabad.

Qualification

Applicants should hold B.Com, M.Com, or Inter CA qualification.
