This internship is for an online elementary school teacher role where the selected candidate will deliver interactive virtual classes, support student learning, and contribute to curriculum and content development.

What You’ll Do

• Take live online classes using activity-led and student-friendly teaching methods.
• Motivate learners to participate through dialogue, questions, and hands-on exercises.
• Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging virtual classroom space.
• Explain topics with learning aids, practical activities, and everyday examples.
• Blend worksheets, projects, and applied tasks into lesson delivery.
• Support curiosity, creativity, analytical thinking, and overall child development.
• Offer focused academic support to students in small-group settings.
• Use formative and summative assessments to measure learning progress.
• Monitor student performance over time and share helpful feedback with students and parents.
• Prepare lesson plans that follow the CBSE curriculum or a similar framework.
• Develop teaching materials, digital resources, and activity-based learning aids.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit different learning needs.
• Stay in regular contact with parents about student progress and attend parent-teacher meetings.
• Work with academic coordinators and other educators to deliver the curriculum effectively.
• Join teacher training programs and contribute to curriculum development work.

Who Can Apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, are able to begin between 21st Jun'26 and 26th Jul'26, and can commit to the full 6-month duration. Applicants should have relevant skills and interest in teaching. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Stipend

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 6,000 to 9,000.

Other Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline is needed, with B.Ed. preferred.
• Prior experience teaching elementary or middle school students, especially Grades 1–10, is an advantage.
• Strong communication, storytelling, teaching, and classroom management abilities are important.
• Comfort with child-centered, experiential, and activity-based learning methods is expected.
• The role requires the ability to engage young learners effectively in an online setting.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or an LMS is required.
• You should be able to design engaging lesson plans, activities, and digital learning resources.
• Creativity, organization, time management, and strong parent communication skills are needed.
• Patience, empathy, adaptability, and commitment to holistic child development are valued.
