Overview
iwis is offering a working student position in Research & Development based in Munich. The role focuses on hands-on work with electric motors, technical documentation, and support for development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Compare competitor electric motors to assess technical differences and performance.
- Select suitable motors and handle their procurement.
- Disassemble and analyze motors in the workshop.
- Record and document findings in a structured way.
- Help build an internal knowledge base or wiki focused on electric motors.
- Contribute to the design and development of electric motors in exciting R&D projects.
- Create CAD designs and support engineering calculations for motor sizing and layout.
What You Bring
- You are currently enrolled in a degree program in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
- You have a strong interest in product development topics and electric mobility.
- Initial experience with CAD tools is an advantage.
- You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written.
- You are confident using MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- You present yourself well, communicate clearly, and work cooperatively with others.
- You are flexible, committed, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Working Conditions
- This is a working student role limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
