Role Overview
Thales is looking for a dependable Warehouse Operator in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role sits within a global organization focused on digital security, identity management, and data protection, and supports the movement, storage, and control of materials in a secure and compliant warehouse environment.
The position calls for someone who is detail-focused, organized, and able to maintain accurate stock records, handle materials safely, and support daily warehouse activities with a strong sense of accountability.

Job Objective
The purpose of this role is to ensure materials are received, stored, tracked, and dispatched accurately while keeping warehouse operations efficient, safe, and fully aligned with quality and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Check inbound deliveries against purchase orders and transport documents, confirming that quantities, condition, and quality are correct.
- Place materials in the appropriate storage areas and keep inventory arranged in a clear, accessible manner.
- Prepare, pick, and pack orders for dispatch while making sure the right items and quantities are sent out on time.
- Update inventory information in warehouse systems and complete routine stock counts and audits.
- Use warehouse tools and equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners in a safe and effective way.
- Ensure all materials and shipments are properly labeled, documented, and traceable.
- Follow safety rules, security controls, and internal policies at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading while using correct handling methods to reduce damage.
- Track inventory levels and promptly escalate shortages, damage, or mismatches to supervisors.
- Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and operationally efficient.
- Work closely with colleagues and other departments to achieve daily targets and deadlines.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts that raise efficiency and accuracy in warehouse processes.
- Carry out physical and system-based stock transactions using ERP, SAP, or Oracle tools.
- Prepare kits and materials for production and maintenance teams.
- Perform cycle counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
Experience Required
This position requires more than 5 years of relevant experience.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse, logistics, or material-handling work.
- Working knowledge of inventory processes such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching.
- Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems and handheld scanning tools is preferred.
- Strong focus on accuracy, with the ability to maintain reliable records and documentation.
- Good planning, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working independently as well as as part of a team.
- Basic numeric and data-entry skills for stock tracking.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, compliance, punctuality, and operational discipline.
- Preferred background in vaults, warehouses, or inventory operations.
- Understanding of security and access-control procedures.
- Experience using ERP systems for inventory management.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for reporting purposes.
- Narrow-aisle forklift experience is an advantage.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive materials.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working in a secure, compliance-driven environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and equipment.
- Attention to detail and consistent documentation accuracy.
- Basic Occupational Health & Safety training.
- Relevant logistics or supply chain certifications are beneficial.
- Ability to follow company procedures and Saudi regulations.
- Capability to maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Experience maintaining shipping documents, delivery notes, and inventory logs.
