Role Overview
PSA BDP is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Singapore to support day-to-day warehouse activities, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure safe, efficient operations. This role involves working closely with internal and external customers while following company procedures and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned warehouse tasks in line with standard operating procedures.
- Follow all health, safety, environmental, and security policies and standards set by PSABDP.
- Promptly report unsafe actions or hazardous conditions observed in the workplace.
- Escalate any unauthorized presence in the warehouse environment.
- Deliver high-quality service to both internal teams and external customers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for inbound, put-away, and outbound inventory movements, either manually or through the WMS.
- Ensure inbound, put-away, and outbound activities meet required turnaround time and accuracy targets.
- Complete cycle counts, stock takes, physical inventory checks, housekeeping, and general maintenance of warehouse areas and material handling equipment.
- Raise operational issues to the supervisor when needed.
- Handle any other duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant warehouse experience.
- Strong understanding of core warehouse functions.
- Qualification of GCE O & A Level, Diploma, or Degree.
- Valid forklift license.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable using IT systems such as SAP and other internal logistics applications.
- Good spoken and written English skills.
- Ability to communicate in Bahasa, Melayu, and Mandarin is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of forwarding, shipping, and documentation processes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident, independent, and self-disciplined working style.
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong commitment to work and a customer-service orientation.
- Patience and the ability to stay disciplined under pressure.
