About the role
Royal Caribbean Group is looking for an experienced Video Editor to join the Market Planning Team and work closely with the Producer Lead in Miami, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site position. The role is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Role summary
This position calls for a seasoned editor with a sharp sense of visual storytelling, brand consistency, and post-production quality. You will create polished marketing materials, shape creative ideas into compelling video assets, manage digital media libraries, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging content on time.
Key duties
- Edit polished video assets for marketing campaigns, social media, internal communication, and brand-focused initiatives.
- Partner with the Content Production team to transform creative ideas into strong visual stories that match brand standards.
- Work on a broad mix of formats such as sizzles, promo clips, event recaps, interviews, and b-roll compilations while maintaining consistency and precision.
- Handle post-production tasks including asset organization, rough cuts, final edits, sound design, color correction, and exporting files for different channels.
- Support multiple internal teams by creating video content aligned with broader business and communication objectives.
- Stay current on editing practices, software updates, and production trends to improve content quality and effectiveness.
- Show enthusiasm for emerging production tools and technology, including editing software, cameras, drones, and creative photo/video equipment.
- Organize, name, tag, and version digital video files correctly so the content library remains searchable and efficient.
- Source, catalog, and maintain b-roll assets to help build a reusable company-wide media library.
- Assist with planning and production tasks as needed to support the delivery of high-performing video content.
- Help the supervisor with media partner TV integrations and sponsorship-related production work when required.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, international marketing, revenue management, HR, hotel fleet operations, corporate communications, and other partners to support integrated messaging and brand alignment.
Qualifications and skills
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 4 years of progressive experience in marketing, production, advertising agency work, or the production industry.
- Advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential; working knowledge of After Effects is a strong advantage.
- Camera operation and hands-on video capture experience in studio or on location is a plus.
- Photography knowledge, including composition, lighting, and post-production, is beneficial.
- Experience in the cruise industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset are important.
- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and editing for social, digital, internal, and promotional formats.
- Comfortable working with Windows-based computers, email, MS Word, Excel, printers, and related equipment.
- Able to present information clearly and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Creative and strategic judgment, with the ability to recognize and support strong ideas.
- Effective relationship-building skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
- Understanding of content strategy and production workflows.
- Able to thrive in a fast-moving creative environment and meet strict deadlines.
