Role overview

This opportunity is suited to a creative editor who enjoys nostalgic visuals and has a strong eye for color. The work focuses on refining short-form videos with a distinct Y2K-inspired, fashion-led look that appeals to a Gen Z audience. The footage will already be assembled, so the main focus will be on color work, finishing touches, and occasional motion design in After Effects to polish the final cut.

You should be comfortable working with trend-aware, youth-oriented content and bringing a fresh visual style to each piece while keeping the overall output consistent and on-brand.

Deliverables

Enhance and color-correct 1 to 2 short videos each week, with each video running under 60 seconds.
Apply visual styling inspired by Y2K aesthetics whenever needed.
Use After Effects selectively to add motion or visual enhancements.
Keep every edit aligned with a cohesive, youthful, and fashion-conscious look.
Export finished videos in the required size, format, and resolution for social media use.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience editing video, backed by a portfolio that includes Y2K, 35mm, or similarly nostalgic visual styles.
Strong command of color correction and grading tools such as DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro.
Working knowledge of After Effects for creating or adding visual effects.
Good grasp of Gen Z culture, trends, and visual preferences.
Ability to work independently and deliver consistently on a weekly schedule.
Excellent attention to detail and a practical approach to solving creative challenges.
Availability for ongoing project-based assignments.
