Position Overview
This remote contract role is for a Video Editing Expert focused on reviewing and improving interview-style content tied to editing and post-production workflows. The position offers hourly pay between $15 and $40 and is expected to require 10 to 40 hours each week.
What You’ll Do
- Examine interview materials connected to video editing and post-production, then refine them for quality.
- Judge the technical execution, narrative flow, and creative decisions reflected in the editing work.
- Share specific, actionable feedback on storytelling, pacing, and editing choices to raise the overall standard of the content.
- Review AI-produced interview content and improve it so it feels clearer and more authentic.
- Work alongside different teams to improve the quality of training data and evaluation methods.
- Make sure audio alignment, color adjustments, and motion graphics follow accepted industry standards.
Requirements
- Applicants should have professional experience in video editing.
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut is required.
- A solid understanding of storytelling, narrative structure, trimming, and pacing is important.
- Prior experience with audio editing and synchronization is needed.
- Working knowledge of color correction, color grading, and the basics of motion graphics is expected.
Additional Details
This is a contract opportunity based in Canada and can be done remotely. The commitment is expected to be 10 to 40 hours per week.
