Vendor Management Manager

Role overview

We are hiring a part-time Vendor Management Manager based in Dubai, combining office presence with work-from-home flexibility. This position is focused on building and managing the complete vendor journey for service providers and suppliers, from initial sourcing through to ongoing performance oversight.

Key responsibilities

The selected professional will lead vendor evaluation and onboarding, handle contract discussions, and maintain productive relationships with external partners. The role also requires tracking vendor delivery against agreed service levels, ensuring adherence to internal policies and applicable regulations, and supporting procurement-related activities.

In addition, the role involves reviewing vendor pricing and quality, coordinating with internal teams to clarify business needs, keeping accurate records and reports, and spotting opportunities to strengthen the vendor base, lower risk, and improve operational value.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring strong analytical ability to assess vendor performance, cost efficiency, risk exposure, and overall value. Experience in negotiating contracts and managing procurement processes is important, along with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent practical experience may also be considered. Prior exposure to vendor management in media, healthcare, or public sector environments will be an added advantage.

The role also calls for someone who can work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams, stay organized while handling multiple vendors and deadlines, and use digital tools or procurement/vendor management systems to monitor contracts and performance data.

Work style

This is a part-time hybrid role in Dubai, so the person must be comfortable balancing on-site and remote responsibilities while prioritizing tasks effectively.
