Role overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Vehicle Operator to join a vehicle data collection team in Dublin. The position involves monitoring the capture of high-quality driving data that helps improve vehicle performance. Success in this role depends on being adaptable, accurate, and comfortable working in a busy, changing environment.
Key duties
- Drive a vehicle within a assigned area for data gathering purposes.
- Turn recording equipment on and off, and carry out basic troubleshooting of hardware or software when needed.
- Review and escalate information collected during the shift.
- Share observations and recommendations that can improve the data collection workflow.
- Prepare daily drive summaries covering issues noticed and key observations.
- Inspect the vehicle each day to confirm it is safe and functioning correctly.
What you should have
- A clean driving history with responsible and safe driving practices.
- At least 4 years of licensed driving experience.
- Strong eye for detail and the ability to notice important changes or issues.
- Very good written and spoken English.
- Solid computer skills, especially with MS Office tools such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Understanding of driver assistance technologies.
- Availability for a flexible rota, including day and night shifts, and one day of work each weekend.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires flexibility and consistent attention to detail while operating in the field.
