Role Overview

This is a freelance contract opportunity for a UI designer to help improve the look and usability of a mobile application for a technology client. The work is fully remote and may continue beyond the initial project depending on business needs and how well the collaboration goes.

The assignment calls for someone with a strong mobile app design portfolio, a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine interest in building smooth, user-friendly digital experiences.

Responsibilities

Create and polish mobile app user interfaces so that the experience remains clear, consistent, and easy to use across every screen.
Work with stakeholders to understand goals and translate them into practical design outcomes.
Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to present design direction.
Use strong digital design, accessibility, and UX practices in all outputs.
Refine designs using feedback and findings from usability testing.
Deliver work on time while maintaining the expected quality level.
Keep up to date with current mobile UI/UX trends and improvements.

Skills & Requirements

Hands-on experience designing interfaces for mobile apps on iOS and/or Android.
Practical knowledge of design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Solid grasp of user-centered design and mobile usability standards.
Ability to build wireframes, prototypes, and detailed visual layouts.
Strong verbal and written communication, plus a collaborative working style.
Careful attention to detail and the ability to juggle several tasks at once.
Comfortable working remotely and completing assignments independently.
A portfolio that demonstrates relevant mobile interface design work.
