Role overview
This position is for a Territory Service Representative in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on handling shipment delivery, pickup, scanning, and end-of-day handover tasks within the assigned service area.
Core duties
- Remove bags from the vehicle and scan each shipment accurately.
- Outscan consignments according to the planned delivery route.
- Deliver parcels to the correct address and obtain customer acknowledgement upon delivery.
- Record the proper status whenever a shipment remains undelivered.
- Return undelivered shipments and COD collections to the supervisor on the same day.
- Collect shipments from customer locations within the specified cut-off time.
- Where applicable, verify shipment counts and secure acknowledgement from the customer based on the quantity collected.
- After returning to the office, perform the inward scan, enter shipment details into the system, and manage onward dispatch connections.
