Job Overview

This is an onsite Technician II position based in Singapore at the Tuas Dr 2 facility. The role supports aircraft engine component refurbishment and related manufacturing processes, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out polishing work using bench-mounted equipment or handheld tools to restore aircraft engine parts to the required quality level.
• Assist with surface preparation activities, including blasting and finishing work.
• May be trained to operate newer robotic technology machines.
• Take part in environmental, health, and safety programs and remain personally accountable for safe work practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, CORE activities, and any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Applicants should have O Levels or a NITEC in Engineering, or another relevant qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in machine operation or a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Candidates without prior experience, including mid-career switchers with a strong interest in aerospace, are encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to understand and follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic spoken and written English is required.
• Should be comfortable working hands-on with tools and equipment.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a growth mindset are important.
• Must be willing to work rotating day and night shifts and be available for overtime when needed.

Preferred Experience

• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP is an advantage.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering is beneficial.
