Company Overview
Mega E&M Trading & Contracting is an engineering and construction firm in Qatar focused on electrical works and street lighting projects.
Role Summary
The Technical Engineer will deliver on-site technical assistance for electromechanical and construction assignments in Qatar. The position centers on drawing and specification review, preparation of technical submissions, coordination with project and site teams, and troubleshooting issues encountered during installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will monitor work execution, verify alignment with project scope, relevant codes, and safety requirements, and help maintain quality control processes. You will also coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, support reporting and project documentation, and help improve the way projects are delivered.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
- Prior hands-on experience in electrical and street lighting projects is essential.
- Background in quality control, inspections, material submittals, and technical documentation is needed.
- You should be familiar with project specifications, IFC drawings, and applicable standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication, along with solid reporting ability, is expected.
- Applicants must already be living in Qatar.
