About the role
Grob Aircraft develops more than aircraft systems; it creates the platforms used to train pilots around the world and supports the next generation of aviation technology. As part of the CA-1 Europa initiative with Helsing, the company is building a new European aircraft program and is seeking a Technical Drafter to join the engineering team and help translate design concepts into production-ready solutions.
What you will do
- Build detailed 3D aircraft models using Siemens NX for different programs.
- Prepare manufacturing documentation to support production activities.
- Revise and update existing technical drawings whenever changes are required.
- Keep technical records organized, current, and accurate.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality Management to move ideas from design to the workshop floor.
Your profile
- You have completed a technical education, such as training as a Technical Drafter, Technical Product Designer, or an equivalent qualification.
- You bring practical experience in technical drafting or a comparable position.
- You are confident working with Siemens NX.
- Experience in aerospace or lightweight construction, especially composites/CFRP, is an advantage.
- You have a strong technical mindset and work in a careful, structured, and detail-focused way.
- You work well in teams and communicate clearly.
- You can speak and write business-fluent German at above B2 level.
