Talent Pipeline Opportunity

This opportunity is part of the studio’s 2026 talent pipeline for standout Technical Designers. It is not a current vacancy. Role Overview

As a Technical Designer, you will apply your Unreal Engine 5 knowledge to help shape games from concept through implementation. You’ll contribute in a collaborative, supportive environment and have a direct influence on the creation of high-quality games.

Work Location

This role is remote, but only candidates currently based in Europe can be considered. Applicants should be working within European time zones. The role is open to remote candidates in the EU/UK region.

Key Responsibilities

• Build compelling gameplay, story, and systems features that come together into a complete game experience.
• Create engaging and inventive player experiences that stretch beyond conventional design approaches.
• Own the delivery of key gameplay features from initial concept through final implementation using Blueprint scripting, Sequencer, and other Unreal Engine systems.
• Work closely with design leadership to shape, iterate, and improve gameplay experiences.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional game design experience, including work with Unreal Engine 5 in a design or technical design role.
• A self-directed approach with the ability to spot design and technical issues and ask for help when needed.
• Strong proficiency in visual scripting, especially Unreal Engine Blueprints, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience.
• Experience creating working prototypes.
• Clear communication skills for presenting ideas to teammates and other stakeholders.
• Ability to follow design standards and produce design documentation.
• Comfort balancing ambitious design goals with production limits and deadlines.
• Ability to receive, assess, and apply feedback effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify risks and propose solutions.
• Experience collaborating in a team-based environment.
• English proficiency at B2 level, both spoken and written.

Preferred Experience

• Prior exposure to strategy games as a player or designer is an advantage.
