TBM Foreman

Role overview

We are looking for a TBM Foreman to support large-scale tunneling work on underground tunnel construction projects, with a strong preference for experience in UG TBM tunnel environments. The role requires a solid understanding of TBM-based execution, tunnel construction workflows, and civil works connected to tunnel operations.

The selected candidate will work closely with the TBM Manager, stay ahead of design and execution needs, and help keep project activities moving efficiently across shift teams and site crews.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will lead and coordinate underground and surface construction activities at a tunnel project site. You will direct shift foremen and their crews, help resolve field issues, and ensure work is carried out in line with project drawings and sketches.

You will also be responsible for checking that equipment remains in proper working condition, and that the required construction materials, tools, and resources are available at site when needed. In addition, you will prepare daily attendance/time records and unit cost reports, along with other duties linked to the position.

Required background

The ideal candidate should bring hands-on experience managing tunneling activities in comparable large construction projects. Practical knowledge of TBM tunnel project execution, TBM operations, and tunnel construction methods based on TBM methodology is essential.

Familiarity with TBM civil activities is also required. The candidate should be able to understand design intent, work proactively in the field, and provide dependable support to the TBM Manager.
