About the team

Main purpose of the role

This role is responsible for calculating and processing contributor payments for productions made by Fremantle UK or by external producers, while ensuring payments are handled accurately and in line with relevant agreements.

Key duties

  • Process payments in line with Equity, Musicians and Scriptwriters Union agreements across both primary and secondary exploitation.
  • Arrange payments for contributors on other Fremantle productions that are currently in production.
  • Run weekly payment cycles.
  • Prepare payment structures for third-party programmes, including setting up contract counts, creating contract templates, linking them to programmes and checking final printouts.
  • Maintain artiste and agent records, along with artiste contracts, in the payment system using robotic process tools.
  • Work with internal and external contacts to answer queries, escalating sensitive or complex matters to senior team members when needed.
  • Support development of the talent payments system alongside the Supervisor.
  • Draft and maintain departmental process documentation.
  • Contribute to ad hoc talent payments projects as required.
