Role overview
A hiring consultancy is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support purchasing and supplier coordination activities in Tirana, Albania.
Core responsibilities
- Source, assess, and compare potential suppliers.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate for the most favorable commercial terms.
- Create purchase orders and follow up on their progress.
- Track inventory levels and company supply needs.
- Ensure materials and services are delivered on time and meet required standards.
- Work closely with other departments to understand and process buying requests.
- Keep supplier files, contracts, and related records up to date.
Requirements
- Previous experience in purchasing or a similar function is preferred.
- Strong negotiation ability and analytical thinking.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Well-developed organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
