Role overview
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to help manage and improve day-to-day supply chain performance. This position focuses on procurement, logistics, inventory control, and demand planning. The right candidate will work with data to spot inefficiencies, uncover trends, and turn findings into practical improvements that lower costs and strengthen overall operations.
Key responsibilities
- Review supply chain data to spot patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Track inventory positions, demand forecasts, and supply planning activity.
- Assist with procurement, logistics, and distribution workflows.
- Create and update reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking materials.
- Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.
- Detect supply chain bottlenecks and suggest process enhancements.
- Support demand planning and forecasting tasks.
- Assess supplier performance and contribute to vendor management efforts.
- Maintain accurate data across supply chain platforms and reporting systems.
- Help drive cost-saving and efficiency-focused initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or another analytical role.
- Strong capability in analysis and problem-solving.
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience using reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Solid understanding of how supply chain processes and operations work.
- Clear communication and strong organizational abilities.
- Comfort working with several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Preferred: exposure to ERP tools such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar systems.
- Preferred: familiarity with demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management platforms.
- Preferred: basic knowledge of SQL or other data-querying tools.
- Preferred: understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable process-improvement methods.
- Preferred: prior experience in manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce supply chains.
