Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore, Singapore. The role focuses on quality control and day-to-day operational support, with an emphasis on verifying shipped and received materials, identifying discrepancies, and helping keep production flow smooth.
Key duties
- Check parts visually before shipment to customers, confirming the correct item, part number, quantity, and absence of damage.
- Review specification sheets to validate material and product details.
- Prepare discrepancy reports when issues are found.
- Carry out tape-and-reel related tasks.
- Work with procurement specialists and account representatives to fix any problems with materials received or sent out.
- Assist operations teams with routine daily work.
Competencies
- Strong organizational ability.
- Comfort working quickly in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with precision measuring devices is an advantage.
Experience
- At least 4 years of quality control experience.
- Background in the electronics industry is a plus.
Education
- High school diploma.
Software requirements
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Strong web and internet research skills.
Physical demands
- Ability to lift more than 50 lbs.
