Storekeeper

Role Overview

Zahr Freighters is hiring a careful and reliable Storekeeper for its warehouse and operations team in Dubai. The role focuses on keeping inventory under control, maintaining precise stock records, and making sure materials and equipment are stored and issued correctly. The person in this position will help keep warehouse activities running smoothly and support the company’s logistics work.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept, check, and place incoming goods, materials, and equipment into storage.
• Keep stock records up to date and maintain accurate inventory tracking systems.
• Track inventory levels and flag shortages or items that need replenishment.
• Release materials and supplies only to approved personnel when needed.
• Arrange the warehouse properly and ensure items are stored in the correct locations.
• Carry out regular stock checks and help with inventory audits.
• Match deliveries with purchase orders and highlight any mismatches.
• Maintain clear records for goods received, issued, and transferred.
• Follow warehouse safety rules and company procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Completion of high school or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, warehouse assistance, or inventory control.
• Working knowledge of stock handling, inventory systems, and warehouse processes.
• Ability to use MS Office tools and inventory management software confidently.
• Strong organizational habits and solid documentation skills.
• High level of accuracy and close attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
