Role overview
This full-time, on-site Store Driver role in Burlington, Ontario is focused on delivering parts to professional customers, supporting store operations, and helping create a strong customer experience. The position combines safe driving, customer interaction, inventory support, merchandising, and light sales assistance.
What you will do
- Collect, prepare, and safely deliver parts to professional accounts.
- Retrieve returned items and core parts from customers.
- Distribute weekly and monthly sales flyers while highlighting active promotions and loyalty programs.
- Handle daily collection efforts for credit accounts.
- Strengthen relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and share delivery-based insights with the CPP.
- Support upselling and cross-selling efforts to help raise average transaction value.
- Keep the store clean and organized, including floors, restrooms, facing, dusting, and the parking lot.
- Assist with stock duties such as truck unloading, back stock management, and cycle counts.
- Stay current on inventory and new products to support sales conversations.
- Assist walk-in customers by identifying their needs and suggesting suitable parts or services.
- Take on additional duties as needed.

- Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance guides, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
- Comfort with basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Availability to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends as required.
- Confidence in approaching customers and promoting products.
- Willingness to learn new products and sales approaches.
Preferred background
- Previous experience in automotive parts is preferred.
Education and licensing
- High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical requirements
This role is primarily active and involves a great deal of walking and standing. The job also requires talking and hearing, using hands and fingers to handle or feel items, reaching with arms, climbing or balancing, and bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The position regularly involves lifting or moving up to 50 pounds and sometimes up to 100 pounds with assistance. Good close, distance, color, and depth vision, along with the ability to adjust focus, are needed.
Work environment
Work is mainly indoors, though the role occasionally requires going outside and facing different weather conditions, such as when installing batteries and wiper blades. There may also be exposure to moving machinery, elevated areas, chemicals, electrical shock risk, explosives, and vibration. The typical noise level is moderate.
Compensation and benefits
The expected pay range for a new team member is CAD 17.60 to CAD 20.70 per hour. The final rate depends on factors such as location, retail experience, automotive knowledge, education, leadership background, and other relevant skills, including shift differential where applicable.
