Startup Scouting & Ecosystem Operations Specialist

Role Overview

Lumikha Teams is hiring a professional to identify, evaluate, and help onboard startups that can participate in its innovation initiatives. This position is focused on keeping the startup pipeline active through research, outreach, screening, and database management.

The work is practical, process-driven, and detail-oriented. You will spend much of your time sourcing potential startups, verifying whether they match program criteria, maintaining accurate records, and supporting founder communication so more startups move through the application process.

Key Responsibilities

• Research startups through accelerator and incubator networks, VC portfolios, universities, startup databases, and similar directories.
• Create and update focused prospect lists while keeping the startup database organized, accurate, and current.
• Review startup profiles against program criteria and remove unsuitable leads from the pipeline.
• Assist with outreach to founders and follow-up communication to improve application conversion.
• Monitor events, startup communities, and ecosystem hubs to discover new sourcing channels.

Required Profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience in startup scouting, business development, venture-focused roles, accelerator programs, or research.
• Strong research and analytical ability with careful attention to detail.
• Comfort performing repetitive, high-volume work with consistency.
• Strong interest in startups and emerging technology.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially for direct outreach to founders.
