About the Role
The Staff Data Analyst will join the Compliance Analytics function and play an important part in using data to strengthen compliance operations. This position requires deep experience in financial crimes and anti-money laundering work. The selected candidate will design approaches, lead key workstreams, and provide practical analytics to senior leaders and outside stakeholders such as regulators. The role centers on measuring compliance risk, improving operational performance, and helping shape the compliance program. It also involves partnering across product, operations, and regulatory priorities while presenting complex findings in a clear and persuasive way.
Key Qualifications
Applicants should bring several years of experience in compliance and AML, along with strong technical and communication capabilities. The role calls for advanced SQL knowledge, experience with analytics and visualization platforms, ETL and data pipeline expertise, and the ability to tackle large, complex problems. Strong project coordination skills are needed to thrive in a fast-moving environment, along with sharp attention to detail and the ability to tailor data storytelling for different audiences.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will lead analytics efforts that support regulatory engagements, including ETL work and validation of source data. You will convert regulatory obligations, commitments, and product plans into practical data initiatives and insights. The job also involves using raw data to brief internal teams and external partners on regulatory implications, policy shifts, and other factors that affect compliance. You will work closely with legal, engineering, and product teams to build and improve compliance program components, and you will guide teams by linking insights to strategic action. In addition, you will oversee several important workstreams at once and contribute mentorship and subject-matter expertise to long-term compliance success.
