Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Role overview

OneCrew is hiring a motivated full-stack software engineer to help shape and scale its product and platform alongside the founders and engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to a fast-growing product that supports paving contractors in managing estimates, crews, and business performance with greater accuracy and confidence.

Location

This position is based in San Francisco, with an expectation of working in the FiDi office for at least 3 days each week.

What you will do

• Architect, develop, and release new products and capabilities, including AI-enabled automation and intelligence features that influence how contractors estimate work, coordinate crews, and monitor profitability in real time.
• Create AI-driven functionality such as smarter estimating, predictive crew planning, and automated insights that help customers make faster, better-informed decisions.
• Take ownership of platform reliability and speed by building systems that are secure, observable, automated, and ready to scale as usage grows.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and design to turn ideas into practical, polished solutions that customers value.
• Improve the team’s technical practices by strengthening testing, deployment, documentation, and code review processes.
• Help foster a strong culture of quality and teamwork while contributing to how the engineering group grows and delivers.

Qualifications

• You have 3–6+ years of software engineering experience in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with Node.js, React, AWS, and PostgreSQL is considered a plus.
• You must have work authorization in the United States.

Offer and compensation

The compensation range for this role is $150,000 to $210,000. The package includes a competitive salary, meaningful early-stage equity upside, full medical, dental, and vision coverage with most plans fully covered, and unlimited paid time off.
