About the team

The Dashboard product teams are compact and fast-paced, with a focus on creating products that balance rich functionality with ease of use. Engineers on this team work across the stack, applying a broad understanding of computer science concepts and moving comfortably between languages, platforms, and layers of the product.

Impact you will make

• Create clear, effective workflows that help IT professionals solve real operational problems in partnership with engineering, product, and UX teams.
• Tackle difficult scaling challenges to support a growing user base while maintaining strong performance and reliability.
• Develop customer-facing tools that help users configure and monitor networking devices worldwide.
• Contribute to the continued simplification, speed, and adaptability of networking and security products.
• Support architectural choices and encourage strong engineering practices across the team.
• Help bring people together and positively influence team culture and collaboration.

Minimum qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience producing professional code and automated tests.
• At least 2 years of hands-on development experience with Ruby on Rails or Python.
• 1+ year of experience building rich web interfaces using React, Redux, and JavaScript.
• Comfort working on a small engineering team and solving open-ended problems across different layers of the stack.
• Strong enthusiasm for the work and the ability to energize others around shared goals.

Preferred qualifications

• Comfort with or willingness to work on proof-of-concept experiments and in agile delivery environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Practical understanding of network protocols used on local and wide-area networks.
