SOC Level 2 (L2) Security Analyst

Role Overview

Arab Solutions is hiring an experienced SOC Level 2 Security Analyst in Doha, Qatar. This position focuses on watching for suspicious activity, examining security events, responding to incidents, and helping improve the organization’s Security Operations Center capabilities.

What You Will Do

• Track security alerts, logs, and related events to identify unusual activity.
• Examine and act on security incidents and emerging threats.
• Carry out threat assessment and connect related incidents for better analysis.
• Assist with incident handling, including containment and remediation steps.
• Refine SIEM use cases, correlation logic, and alerting workflows.
• Document incidents and prepare clear security reports.
• Work closely with IT and security teams to improve overall defense measures.
• Guide and support junior SOC analysts when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a similar discipline.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in SOC, cybersecurity, or incident response roles.
• Hands-on knowledge of SIEM and EDR platforms.
• Good understanding of network security, operating systems, and common cyber threats.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, CEH, Security+, SC-200, or an equivalent certification.

Preferred Background

• Exposure to Microsoft Sentinel (Azure Sentinel).
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Experience working in enterprise or government security settings.
