Role Overview
This position is focused on running the daily operations and overall performance of a short-stay and serviced apartment portfolio. The role requires someone who can balance guest satisfaction, housekeeping and maintenance coordination, online travel agency performance, revenue improvement, and structured reporting to support occupancy and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day functioning of short-stay properties such as serviced apartments and vacation rentals, maintaining a consistent level of service.
- Track and improve occupancy, pricing, and revenue results in line with forecasts and target performance.
- Maintain and optimize property listings across major OTA channels, including Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, and similar platforms.
- Respond to guest questions, complaints, and escalations quickly to protect ratings and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Plan and monitor housekeeping schedules, making sure quality inspections are completed on time.
- Handle maintenance requests and coordinate with vendors or contractors to ensure problems are resolved efficiently.
- Build and manage working relationships with owners, landlords, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead operational staff, reinforce SOPs, and ensure service standards are followed consistently.
- Prepare regular weekly and monthly reports covering occupancy, revenue, guest feedback, open items, and corrective action plans.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience in short-stay operations, serviced apartments, vacation rentals, property management, or hospitality operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Background in managing short-stay portfolios while keeping operations uniform across multiple properties.
- Working knowledge of OTA platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, and related channels.
- Hands-on experience with revenue improvement and occupancy management.
- Strong customer service and guest relations experience.
- Ability to coordinate housekeeping and maintenance processes effectively.
- Good communication skills with the ability to manage both teams and stakeholders.
- Solid analytical capability and the ability to create clear, actionable reports.
