About the role
Cully is an Irish process control, automation, and instrumentation business focused on water and wastewater infrastructure. The company delivers services ranging from primary measurement equipment design and installation to large-scale process automation.
The business has offices in Leixlip and Portlaoise, and this role is open to candidates anywhere in Ireland who can work across customer sites.
Role overview
The Service Technician will be part of the Service Team and will travel to customer locations across Ireland to install, service, maintain, and calibrate monitoring and instrumentation systems. The work may include commissioning a flow meter at a treatment facility, diagnosing telemetry issues, or supporting the upkeep of water quality analysers.
Key duties
- Fit, service, repair, and maintain instrumentation and monitoring equipment.
- Commission and calibrate flow meters and analytical instruments.
- Diagnose faults in telemetry and communications systems.
- Perform both scheduled and urgent maintenance work at client sites.
- Contribute as part of a specialist team supporting Ireland’s water infrastructure.

Desired qualifications and experience
- An Electrical Instrumentation trade qualification or a related engineering qualification.
- A full driving licence.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
- Confidence working independently in a mobile, site-based role.
- Previous instrumentation experience is an advantage.
- Experience in the water or wastewater sector is desirable.
- Telemetry or automation background would be beneficial.
- Safe Pass and Confined Space certification would be an added advantage.
