Service Technician

Role overview

Culligan Ireland is hiring a Field-Based Service Technician in County Cork. This is a permanent full-time position, with employment subject to a 6-month probation period. The role focuses on supporting customers with the delivery, installation, servicing, maintenance, exchange, and collection of water coolers and filtration systems.

The position is based in Co. Cork and plays an important part in keeping equipment operating correctly, solving service issues quickly, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience while representing the Culligan brand professionally in the field.

Compensation

The salary for this role is €32,000 per year, paid monthly, along with an annual tax-free meal allowance of €4,000.

Key duties

• Check that equipment remains in proper working order and continues to meet customer expectations.
• Complete field visits for surveys, installs, repairs, servicing, exchanges, and collections.
• Identify technical faults and put appropriate fixes in place.
• Work to an organised daily route while staying adaptable for urgent or reactive calls.
• Keep van stock, tools, and inventory at the right levels to finish assigned work.
• Log service activity accurately using digital systems on the supplied tablet.
• Deliver a polite, professional, and customer-focused service at every visit.

Requirements

• Valid full driving licence with no more than 6 points and no disqualifying offences.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve technical or mechanical problems.
• Good knowledge of the local area and nearby regions.
• Comfortable working alone and following a planned schedule.
• Strong people skills and a service-first approach.
