Role overview
This is a senior leadership opportunity within a major banking transformation initiative in Saudi Arabia. The position calls for a seasoned Test / Quality Engineering leader who has deep experience across core banking, digital channels, payments, treasury, corporate banking, retail banking, and enterprise-scale transformation environments.
What you will do
- Own the complete test lifecycle, including strategy, governance, execution, and release coordination.
- Lead quality engineering modernization efforts such as test automation, AI-assisted testing, and continuous testing practices.
- Oversee testing and release activities for large banking releases, regulatory work, business-as-usual changes, and strategic transformation programs.
- Establish quality KPIs, risk controls, and release-readiness oversight models.
- Direct large, distributed QE teams, external vendors, and multi-workstream delivery programs.
- Work closely with business, technology, and executive stakeholders to support dependable, high-quality deployments.
Required background
- More than 20 years of experience in testing or quality engineering.
- At least 15 years in senior test management or leadership positions.
- Strong banking knowledge across core banking, digital banking, payments, treasury, trade finance, retail banking, and corporate banking.
- Hands-on familiarity with payment ecosystems including SWIFT, RTGS, ACH, ISO 20022, and cards.
- Prior involvement in KSA or GCC banking programs is essential.
- Solid exposure to Agile, DevOps, automation, API testing, and performance testing.
- Proven experience leading sizeable QE teams.
- High-level fluency in both Arabic and English.
