Role overview
P+A Projects Pte Ltd is looking for a Senior Technical Designer in Singapore to support architectural work from early planning through detailed design and site coordination.
Key duties
- Support the Architectural Associate/Architect in day-to-day project tasks.
- Prepare planning submissions and other regulatory applications.
- Create design concepts and presentation material using CAD tools as well as hand-drawing methods.
- Contribute to the detailed design stage and help align design information across the project team.
- Develop and revise tender documents and construction drawings.
- Communicate with relevant authorities, including planning and technical personnel, to secure statutory approvals.
- Attend site inspections and document meeting outcomes and discussions.
- Assist the project architect in resolving site-related coordination issues.
- Prepare and review detailed specifications for materials and construction processes.
Requirements
- A degree in Architecture or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of related professional experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Vray renderer, 3D Max, Adobe Photoshop, and SketchUp.
- Must be comfortable using 3D AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
- Ability to perform well in a demanding, fast-moving environment.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Positive, self-driven, and collaborative team attitude.
- Experience in commercial, mixed-use, or residential design work is an advantage.
